graph analysis: Algorithms and Applications 主 讲 人 :Jiankai Sun 内容简介: Many real-world
problems can be modeled as directed graphs. We mainly focus on how to leverage
the directed graph hierarchy to solve some real problems in this talk.
Particularly, I will address the problem of breaking cycles while preserving
the logical structure (hierarchy) of a directed graph as much as possible. Then
I will show how to leverage graph hierarchy to solve a real problem in
Community Question Answering services (CQAs) -- routing questions to users with
matching expertise based on question difficulty level in Stack Overflow and
Yahoo! Answers. I will also talk about how to solve the cold-start problem in
CQAs, which is a very challenging problem in CQAs and as well as many other
areas such as recommender systems. 主讲人简介: Jiankai
Sun, Ph.D.from the Ohio State University. His advisor is Prof. Srinivasan
Parthasarathy. His research interests are mainly about data mining and machine
learning, such as graph embedding, personalized recommendations, and question
routing in community question answering services. He previously did his
internship at Twitter (Software Engineer, 2018), Pacific Northwest National
Laboratory (Research Scientist, 2017), Bell Labs (Research Scientist, 2016),
Tencent (Software Engineer, 2014) and Huawei (Research Scientist, 2014). His
work has been published to many high-quality conferences and journals such as
WWW, CIKM, ECML PKDD, SDM, ICWSM, ACM TIST and WebSci. |
