为进一步提高留学生的培养质量，强化日常管理，依据《浙江工业大学全日制本科留学生学籍管理实施细则（试行）》（浙工大发[2017]63号）和《浙江工业大学来华留学生违纪处分办法》的相关内容和规定，现发布本学院留学生考勤管理相关通知：

一、留学生应根据课表按时上课，自觉遵守学习纪律，不得旷课和无故迟到、早退。

二、留学生因病或其他特殊原因，不能参加学习或学校统一安排、组织的其他活动时，必须事先办理请假手续，说明请假原因、时间，病假必须有医院证明。因急病或紧急事故未能及时请假者，应在3天内补办请假手续。

三、留学生应按时参加学校统一安排和培养计划规定的一切活动。各种教学、实践环节都实行考勤。学校、学院和任课教师可采用多种方式对留学生到课情况进行检查。迟到15分钟或无故不参加者，作旷课论。对于无故旷课的留学生，视情节轻重予以处分直至退学。

四、留学生有下列情况之一者，不得参加该门课程的考核，记为零分，并取消补考资格，需重学：

1.学生一学期内缺课（包括病假、事假、旷课等）累计超过该课程本学期学时数三分之一者；

2.一学期缺交作业（实验报告）达三分之一者；

3.抄袭他人作业和实验报告等，经批评教育仍不改正者。

五、从2019年3月开始，学院将根据留学生课表安排留学生考勤地点及具体时间，并对留学生的考勤问题进行警示，告知学生本人可能产生的不良后果。

Notice on Attendance Checking for the International Undergraduate Student in College of Computer Science & Technology, College of Software

As a way to improve the quality of training for the international students as well as to strengthen daily management，a new method of checking attendance has been introduced at college of computer science & technology, college of software.  This notice has been made in accordance with Detailed Implementing Rules for the Management of Full-Time International Undergraduate Student Academic Affairs in Zhejiang University of Technology (Trial) (Order No.63 [2017] of Zhejiang University of Technology) and Regulations for the Punishments on the International Students’ Violation of Discipline in Zhejiang University of Technology.

1.  International students should be conscious of complying with academic discipline, arriving to class on time and being careful not to cut class, arrive late, or leave early without excusable reason. 

2.  International students must complete the formalities for leave in advance if unable to participate in the study or other activities arranged and organized by the university due to illness or other reasons. The reason for and period of leave must be stated in the application and the medical certificate issued by a hospital is needed for sick leave. Those who cannot apply for leave in time due to an acute disease or emergent accident shall make up the formalities for leave within three days after the beginning day of leave.

3.  International students, as required, shall participate in the activities stipulated in the university’s education arrangement and all the other compulsory activities prescribed by the university. The attendance would be checked in teaching and practice activities. The university, colleges and teachers would record the attendance of international students’ course studies in various ways. If international students arrive late for more than 15 minutes or fail to attend class without any valid reason, it would be considered as cutting class.  Regarding students who are often truant, the school will review the circumstances in order to determine appropriate disciplinary action, which includes expulsion if necessary.

4.  International students in the cases as follows are not allowed to participate in the final assess mentor the make-up examination of the corresponding course, of which the assessment result would be scored ZERO, and they shall retake the course:

a. Being absent from class (including sick leave, casual leave, cutting class, etc.) for more than 1/3 of the total class hours of the course within one semester;

b. Failing to submit the homework (including experimental reports), which accumulates to 1/3 of the total assignments required by the course in one semester;

c. Plagiarizing others’ homework or experimental reports, etc., and failing to change their behaviors after being criticized.

5.  College of Computer Science & Technology, College of Software will arrange the time and location for the attendance check in accordance with international student’s class timetable from March 2019. An attendance check warning will be given to an international student regarding an attendance problem after an attendance check.
