Notice on Online Course-selecting of International Undergraduate Students' General Knowledge Selective Courses of 2019-2020(2) Semester

To all colleges it may concern:

Online course-selecting of International Undergraduate Students' General Knowledge Selective Courses of 2019-2020(2) semester will be carried out from Jan. 15, 2020 to Mar. 1, 2020. Due attention should be paid to the following points:

I. Only General Selective Courses are within the coverage of above-mentioned online course-selecting. The rest of the courses hardly fall within the scope of this notice. Each student can take at most two selective courses each semester. (Courses that students have already got the credit are not allowed to be selected once again.) Please be noted that once chosen, selective course cannot be modified anymore. So please take a second thought before making final decisions. Anyone who fails to do so within the prescribed time will be deemed as an automatic waiver. Each student must obtain the required credits for the education arrangement before graduation, which is to be explained by the major colleges.

II. Participants of the online course-selecting are confined to all International students whose courses of their majors are instructed in English.

III. Selective courses shall be registered from Jan. 15, 2020 to Mar. 1, 2020.

IV. Course-selecting can be fulfilled via http://172.16.19.160/(on-campus) or http://www.gdjw.zjut.edu.cn/(off-campus). To ensure the efficiency of course selection, please visit the websites through campus network if possible. (All the website links can be found on the website of Academic Affairs Office.)

V. No more course-selecting opportunities will be offered after March 1st. Therefore, faculty members in all colleges are responsible for making sure every international student involved registers for selective courses within the prescribed time online, especially those 2016 undergraduate international students who are about to graduate.

VI. It’s highly appreciated if faculty members in the computer center and all computer rooms accommodate relevant international students during the prescribed time.

VII.International students whose courses of their majors are instructed in Chinese can go to the corresponding major college to choose courses.

VIII. The final information of the available General Selective Courses will be released in Zhengfang Management System.

IX. The official version of this notice is in Chinese, with English translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy between the English translation and the original Chinese text, the Chinese text shall prevail.
