The final exam schedule for the 2023-2024 (2) semester has been published in Zhengfang Academic Affairs System. The final exams time and location will be based on the information in the Zhengfang system after the release of this notice.

2.The exam week will start from June 17th to June 28th.

3. Special Reminders:

① Please arrange your time reasonably, review diligently, and prepare actively for the exams.

② Students must sign in when entering the examination rooms. Each examination room will print a sign-in list based on the exam schedule, and students should enter the corresponding examination room according to the exam information in the Zhengfang system and sign in.

③ During exams, the examination rooms are basically recorded throughout the process. Please strictly abide the examination discipline.

④ Detail Rules in "Zhejiang University of Technology’s Detailed Rules for the Management of Academic Affairs of Full-Time International Undergraduate Students": 

Article 18 The international student in the cases as follows shall retake the course as he/she is disqualified from the final assessment or the resit of the course, with zero in his/her result:

a. Where the international student is absent from class (including sick leave, personal leave, truancy etc.) for more than 1/3 of the total class hours of the course;

b. Where his/her assignments (including experiment reports) submitted is less than2/3 of the assignments

required by the course;

c. Where he/she plagiarizes others’ assignments or experiment reports, etc., and refuses to rectify his/her

misconduct after being warned.

Article 19 Where the international student cannot take the examination due to emergency or justifiable reasons, he/she shall submit an application to delay the examination to major college before the date of examination; Otherwise, he/she shall be deemed to truant from assessment. Where the international student delays his/her examination and passes it, the result shall be recorded as a regular one. Where he/she fails to pass it, the international student shall retake the course. Where theinternational student resits, he/she shall not apply for a delay of the examination.

Article 20 Where the international student is absent from assessment without approval, or found violating the assessment disciplines, or caught cheating in the assessment, his/her assessment result shall be zero and he/she shall be disqualified from resit. Whoever is found violating the assessment disciplines or caught cheating in the assessment shall be punished in accordance with Zhejiang University’s Measures on Course Assessments and Punishments on the Students’ Misconduct in Assessments.

Article 21 Where the international student is not satisfied with his/her result of course assessment(60≤his/her score<85), he/she shall submit an application for retaking the examination and pay the relevant tuition fees within the first three weeks of the semester. Whoever is approved to retake the examination shall attend class of the course and take the final examination. It is not suggested for the international student to retake more than three examinations in one semester by principle.

Article 22 Where the international student fails in the assessment of a theoretical course, he/she shall resit at the beginning of the next semester. Whoever fails in the resit shall pay the relevant tuition fees and retake the courses. Where an international student fails in the examination of the course retaken by him/ her, he/she shall pay the relevant tuition fees and retake the course again. Where the international student fails in the experimental or practical course, he/she shall pay the relevant tuition fees and retake the course directly as there is no opportunity to resit.

Where the international student applies for retaking a course shall handle the relevant matters and pay the relevant tuition fees in the first three weeks of the semester in accordance with the provisions of the university. Whoever takes examination without having handled the relevant matters, his/her result of examination is deemed invalid.
